ISRAEL PRIVACY NOTICE

Privacy Notice for Israel

This notice describes how recruitment and related information may be handled when an organization uses AbreuAI with Israel selected as its privacy jurisdiction. The organization’s responsibilities depend on the specific recruitment process and applicable law.

Last updatedOctober 2026 Policy versionisrael-2026-10-v2

1. Scope and context

This notice applies to recruitment activity managed with AbreuAI when the organization using the workspace is configured for Israel. It should be read with the Global Privacy Notice and any information provided by the organization for a particular role or process.

2. Organizations and the platform

AbreuAI provides software and tools for recruitment workflows. The organization using a workspace—such as a recruitment agency, employer, HR or Talent Acquisition team, or independent recruiter—manages its recruitment process and determines what information it adds and how it uses it, subject to applicable requirements. The roles and responsibilities of AbreuAI and the organization depend on the service, relationship, agreements and law.

3. Personal information

Information may include account, contact, organization and technical details, as well as information entered into recruitment records. Depending on a role and workspace, a candidate application may include:

  • Name, telephone number and email when provided;
  • CV, professional experience, education, skills and other work-related information;
  • Comments, application history and details associated with the recruitment process. Other fields may be used depending on the organization and process.

4. How information is received

Information may come directly from candidates and account users, from organizations and their recruiters, from connected services selected by a customer, or from technical interactions with the service.

5. Purposes of use

Information may be used to operate accounts and workspaces, publish roles, receive and manage applications, support search and review, communicate about recruitment, maintain the service, protect it and respond to requests.

6. Candidates and applications

When a person applies, the organization can use the submitted information to manage the specific vacancy and related recruitment steps. Where relevant and where an appropriate legal basis and required information duties are in place, the organization may also consider the information for future employment opportunities relevant to the candidate. Accepting this notice alone does not determine the legal basis for every future use.

7. Sharing candidate information with employers

The organization responsible for the recruitment process may share a candidate’s CV, professional experience, contact details and other relevant information with employers, client companies or hiring managers when needed to assess job opportunities and where the required authorization or other legal basis applies. This may support presenting a candidate, assessing fit for a vacancy, coordinating interviews, continuing a selection process, or managing offers and opportunities. The organization decides when and with whom to share information, subject to its permissions, processes and applicable obligations. AbreuAI provides the tools and does not decide which CV to send.

8. Information added by organizations

An organization or recruitment agency may add or update professional details, notes, process status and other information relevant to its work. The organization is responsible for assessing what it adds and how it uses that information in its recruitment process.

9. AI-assisted features

Depending on the feature selected, AI may assist with tasks such as CV translation, analysis, matching, review support or preparation of recruitment content. The information involved depends on the task. AI assistance does not replace the organization’s and its people’s responsibilities for recruitment decisions.

10. Technology providers

Some features may send the content needed for the requested task to an external AI provider, such as OpenAI or, where configured, Google services, for analysis, translation or content generation. The provider depends on the feature; not every feature uses the same provider. Content may include personal information in CVs or other recruitment records. Selected forms may use Google reCAPTCHA for bot protection; it is separate from generative AI. Other Google technology services may support specific functions when configured. WhatsApp may be used when a user requests that handoff, and connected mailboxes may support recruitment email intake.

11. International services

Some technology providers or infrastructure may operate in other countries. Where information is handled across borders, the organization and service arrangements must be considered under applicable requirements. The relevant safeguards depend on the service and relationship.

12. Retention

Information is retained as needed for the relevant service, recruitment process, operational purposes and applicable obligations. Retention may differ by organization, record and context; this notice does not promise a fixed period.

13. Security

AbreuAI and organizations use administrative, technical and organizational measures intended to help protect information. Access and controls depend on the service configuration and the responsibilities of each organization.

14. Access, correction and deletion requests

Under Israel’s Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, including Amendment 13 where applicable, and other applicable requirements, a person may have rights that include access to personal information and a request to correct it. Available rights, including any deletion request, depend on the applicable law and circumstances; this notice does not promise that every record can be deleted. For candidate information held in a recruitment workspace, the organization managing the process is normally the first contact. It manages its candidate records and evaluates requests under applicable law. AbreuAI provides the technology and does not routinely enter a customer’s CRM to administer or directly delete candidate records. Where required by applicable legal or contractual obligations, AbreuAI may provide technical assistance. This does not exclude obligations that may apply directly to AbreuAI.

15. Contacting AbreuAI

For an account, platform question, communication directly with AbreuAI or a request legally addressed to AbreuAI, use the public Contact page. Requests about a candidate record should normally be directed first to the organization managing the recruitment process.

16. Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated when the service, its practices or applicable requirements change. The published version and update date identify the notice currently available.
